KTS Recycling is very excited to be one of the Australian Bedding Stewardship Council approved mattress recyclers. 
KTS Recycling has been recycling mattresses for 15 years and is Victoria’s largest mattress recycler, having recycling over 1 million mattresses since 2007. This is accomplished by shredding mattresses to separate the materials, such as fluff, wood and metal, to allow for a greater resource recovery and removal of unnecessary wastes from going to landfill
The Australian Bedding Stewardship Council (ABSC) was established to expand on the provisional product stewardship scheme originating in 2016.The ABSC is a not-for-profit design to assist with the recycling of end-of-life mattresses, which is a big problem in Australia, and we are thrilled to be named as an approved organization.
