Visitor Information & Site Rules
To help keep our sites safe for customers, visitors, contractors and staff, all visitors must follow the site rules below when entering any KTS Recycling site.
Please note that some sites may have additional location-specific requirements. Always follow the directions of site staff and any safety signage displayed on site.
Before You Enter
Enclosed Footwear is Mandatory
Closed-toe or enclosed footwear must be worn at all times when entering a KTS Recycling site, including when visiting a Treasure Chest Recycled Goods Shop.
Visitors wearing thongs, sandals, open-toe shoes or other unsuitable footwear may be refused entry for safety reasons.
General Site Rules
By entering a KTS Recycling site, you agree to comply with the following conditions:
- All vehicles must stop at the gatehouse prior to entry.
- We reserve the right to inspect all loads.
- Customers enter at their own risk.
- Enclosed footwear must be worn.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to unload their vehicle.
- No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes.
- No entry to restricted areas.
- Obey all staff directions and advisory signs.
- Abusive or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave site.
- Any incidents / accidents must be reported to staff.
- Staff reserves the right to refuse entry to, or accept waste from, any customer.
- Children must remain in vehicles, except when visiting the Treasure Chest shop.
- Children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
- Scavenging is not permitted.
- No hazardous waste or asbestos accepted.
- Give way to mobile plant at all times.
- No unauthorised operation of machinery.
- Failure to comply with these conditions may result in refusal of entry or direction to leave site.
Treasure Chest Recycled Goods Shops
Our Treasure Chest shops are located within active recycling and waste management facilities.
While visiting the shop, customers must follow all site safety requirements, including:
- Wearing enclosed footwear.
- Remaining within marked customer areas.
- Supervising children at all times.
- Following staff directions and site signage.
