In light of recent events regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, KTS Recycling have reviewed their business operations and have made changes to ensure the safety of our employees and customers.
Firstly, KTS Recycling will continue to operate as an essential business under the new restrictions set out by the Daniel Andrews government, which means all our transfer stations will remain open at this current time. Unfortunately, as of Tuesday 31st March, our treasure chest recycled goods stores on sites will be closed to the public until further notice. We are working with local councils and are closely monitoring any information or action handed down by state and federal governments to make sure our operations remain safe.
Secondly, we have implemented changes to our operations to continue to trade under these circumstances, as detailed below:
Even though we will continue to operate during these uncertain times, KTS Recycling have undertaken certain measure to ensure everyone’s safety, which include (but are not limited to) the following:
- We are practicing safe social distancing across our transfer stations and recycled goods shops, and we ask you respect a safe social distance of at least 1.5 meters when on site
- We are encouraging all customers on site use our EFTPOS facilities to reduce cash payments. We have removed our EFTPOS minimum in our recycled goods shops during this time to encourage this
- If cash payments are your preferred payment method, we will be enforcing a contactless form of payment. Please follow the instruction of our employees on site for more information
- We also ask you follow safe measure that have already been set out by our government while on our site (i.e. cough into your arm not your hands, safe social distancing of at least 1.5 meters, don’t crowd in groups in our stores etc.). We also respectfully ask you refrain from visiting our sites if you are feeling unwell.
We understanding this in a difficult time for everyone, and we hope you understand and appreciate that our teams will be doing the best they can to ensure everyone stays safe.
